Felice's Story -

We live in Reno, NV. We have been digusted with our R&B home since we purchased it in April 2002. I have sent them numerous letters and their response is always confusion. Once they wrote "Frankly, I'm surprised at your tone". Some of our complaints included: A/C broke and they refused to pay for the repairs Why? A/C broke 45 days after our 1 year warranty expried. Imagine living in Reno where it gets to 100 degrees in the summer and without A/C. Not only that, but there is always a 12 degree difference (per an outside A/C contractor) between our bedroom on one end of the house and the living room which is on the exact opposite end. Needless to say the bedroom is too hot in the winter and too cold in the summer. My favorite is our guest bedroom wall. Somehow one of the 2x4 bowed; Undetectable by the naked eye. We attempted to put a shelf on the wall. The shelf was rocking back and forth from left to right making the wall useless. We have vowed never to buy another R&B home again.
